18 May (Fri), celebrate close friends birthday

As I was not working, went to Suntec to buy flowers for the two birthday gals. Panic when I saw the florist gone. Then I told myself Suntec so big sure got at least one florist. Searched high and low, looked at the information board, finally saw there are two. Went to the one which is at the same level as Swiss Culture (the restaurant we will be going for dinner). So the florist had moved there instead (aiyo never tell me hee). Bought two Sunflowers and went to Swiss Culture. Gave them the flowers to keep and gave them instruction on the cakes. Gave them the little "happy birthday" which I did myself. Told them to put in the cake with candle.

Everyone arrived at the restaurant, we ordered our food. Take fotos as usual of our food haha

After dinner, I waved to the waitress to bring out the surprises. The waitress brought out the sunflowers. The 2 gals shocked.

Grasshopper Concert, 19 May (Sat)

Went to Singapore Indoor Stadium for Grasshopper Concert on Sat (19May). So long never go concert liao, kinda excited heee. Took some photos.

The concert was converse in Cantonese, sang in Cantonese. As I only know a little bit about cantonese, I'm totally lost in my own world. Watching the crowd standing up and dancing. Looking around me enjoying the atmosphere. The most important thing is Von is really happy. Grasshopper her idol heee

Concert started at 8.30pm and ended around 11.45pm. We left the place and as usual there were so many cars, so we took our time to walk out and then we saw some pple waiting outside the back. We guess they must be waiting for grasshopper to come out, so we also went to wait. The wait was worth it I think, as one of the grasshopper came out and threw mouse pads to the crowd. One of the mouse pad landed beside me, a lady was rushing to catch it but when she saw it landed beside me she stopped. So I turned around and there it was, really just right beside me. So I picked it up and passed to Von.

Worth my $200 eh as long she is happy and enjoyed.

My new computer cabinet

Waited whole morning today for the delivery to come. Finally came at 12plus pm. They fixed up the shelf and computer cabinet. After that, I cleaned them and leave it to air. Next, was to pack all the stuff back. Luckily, Von came over to help.

My Forever Friend bear finally dun have to squeeze with me on my bed

New furniture in bedroom, new job on Monday (21 May). Hope my life will be better with all these new happening.

My last day at work today (16may)

One month passed so so fast, today is my last day (oops should be was). First thing in the morning, still busy teaching the temp gal. Busy busy busy, issue after issue, with the audit coming soon, everyone is checking on things. Well, so settled everything as much as I can, help in whatever ways I can.

Then it was near to 5.30pm, suddenly the marketing team appeared in front of me. One mgr made a speech, thanking me and stuff. Then boss made her thank you speech too and presented the card and gift to me. All the while I was smiling and nodding (kinda paisei). Then the mgr who was standing next to me, hugged me. After hugging her, I hugged my boss and my tears started. It so paisei, once I started, cant stop. Then hugged a few other colleagues. It has been almost 7 yrs, sure will have feelings.

After I got home, I read the card they wrote for me. While reading, I got emotional again but at least I din cry liao. The team gave me a $200 m1 vouchers (will be getting myself a new HP heehee). My boss gave me an additional $50 taka vouchers.

Back track a bit - today I sent out a few Goodbye email to different group of pple (business, customers/doctors and colleagues).
Business - basically telling them that today last day, my email will still be valid as my temp gal will be using.
Customers/doctors - telling them the same as above (some doctors replied, saying it sad to hear me leaving, and compliment me) *feels really good to get compliment like tat :)
Colleagues also got two groups
- one :to provide my blog address so we can still keep in touch
- two :just to say goodbye without any contact at all (ps. my 'colleague' falls into this category)

Talking about my 'colleague' (hmmmm the one who used to say we know so long, so long time fren blah blah blah), told her when was my last day b4 as she asked, ok nevermind maybe she busy or wat and forgot today is my last day...But I sent out email saying goodbye, initially din wanna send to her but still I did...most who received my goodbye email, replied me wishing me all the best and etc...even those whom I'm not close with, replied...but I din see any from her nor hear from her...not even a SameTime (works like MSN but is within the company)...well, benefits of doubt, maybe she replied at the end of the day after I have logout :)

Anyway, Good Bye GSK, will still keep in touch with my colleagues BUT not my 'colleague'
